The Role: Full-stack developer bridging technical excellence with IT governance expertise. You'll develop mission-critical applications while ensuring compliance with COBIT, ITIL, and regulatory requirements (PENCOM, GDPR, Nigeria DPA) in a highly regulated environment.
1. FULL STACK DEVELOPER – Digital Transformation & Governance
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop full-stack applications (React, Vue, Node.js, Python, Java)
Integrate IT governance principles (COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001) into development practices
Lead development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Support ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) and production support
Champion code reviews focused on governance, security, and auditability
Ensure systems comply with PENCOM requirements and data protection regulations
Contribute to enterprise architecture and microservices design
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience)
5+ years full-stack development experience
2+ backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET)
2+ frontend technologies (React, Vue, Angular)
Strong IT governance knowledge (COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001)
ITIL practices experience (incident, problem, change management)
Enterprise architecture and system design pattern understanding
Relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB)
Application security and secure coding expertise
Preferred:
Financial services or regulated industry experience
Pensions/custody operations knowledge
COBIT/ITIL/PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master certification
CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code
Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, service mesh
AI/ML or process automation platform exposure
2. FULL STACK DEVELOPER – Enterprise Systems & Service Management
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable full-stack applications (frontend, backend, APIs)
Apply ITIL frameworks to development and deployment
Define/monitor SLAs and support incident management
Own features from requirements through release (Agile/Scrum)
Implement security controls and compliance measures
Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience)
5–7 years full-stack development experience
2+ backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, Go, .NET)
2+ frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
ITIL knowledge and SLA/incident management experience
Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) + NoSQL databases
Git, CI/CD, automated testing expertise
Application security and secure coding practices
Preferred:
ITIL/PMP/Scrum Master certification
Financial services or regulated industry experience
Pension fund operations knowledge
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) & Infrastructure-as-Code
Microservices architecture & API design
