Tomi Soyode (Managing Director)


Tomi Soyode is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ICAN - 1985) with significant leadership & top management experience in various executive roles that have spanned over 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree in English Language (2nd class Upper Division) from the University of Ife (1981), and has attended various top quality training programmes in world class institutions, including the Advanced Management Programme (AMP), INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and several EUROMONEY training programmes.

Currently a General Manager (GM) in United Bank for Africa PLC and Managing Director of its subsidiary – UBA Pensions Custodian Limited. Prior to this, Tomi was the Chief Executive Officer of another full subsidiary of the bank- UBA Capital & Trust Limited. She is an experienced and versatile financial manager, following her over twenty years in the Financial & Audit functions; first as a Senior audit assistance with KPMG and then as an Audit Senior with Arthur Andersen & Co. This was followed by a brief stint in the Treasury Function as a Manager in Credite Bank Limited.
